nexmedia not only provides a hosted environment for your applications and data, but we also provide your connectivity to the mobile world. It is via nexmedia's links to each of mobile operators that your traffic makes its way from your own systems to each individual handset. While traffic on GSM mobile networks is secure by design, many mobile providers overlook the paths that their data takes once it leaves the mobile network. It is distressingly commonplace to find mobile connectivity vendors using unsecured or vulnerable links to transmit data to and from each mobile network.

nexmedia sets a very high standard of security for each of our operator and aggregator connections. Not only do we ensure that traffic is encrypted from end-to-end, we ensure that connectivity between nexmedia and each of our mobile operator and aggregator partners is secured and authenticated. In the case that a specific mobile operator does not allow for encrypted network traffic, nexmedia will deploy a dedicated leased lines to that operator to ensure in-transit security.
