nexmedia SMS Analytics is the latest addition to the nexsites™ Platform and provides unprecedented insight into your organization's SMS messaging usage, with real-time metrics presented in a variety of customizable formats.
nexmedia SMS Analytics presents your SMS usage in a series of interactive dashboards, allowing you to visualize the metrics that are important to you, and filter and group the results using a variety of criteria, all in real-time. Not only are your summarized messaging statistics presented, helping you understand your overall messaging usage, but you can also drill down and retrieve the raw messages behind each metric in order to gain detailed insight into a particular customer's interaction or to understand the cause behind unexpected usage patterns.
The first release of nexmedia SMS Analytics is currently live for all nexmedia Enterprise SMS subscribers and provides a dashboard of your consolidated SMS statistics and a another dashboard specifically targeted at understanding the usage of your nexsites hosted Interactive SMS applications. Look for additional dashboards for Push SMS, SMS MT API and MessageBoard coming soon.
 
Accessing nexmedia SMS Analytics
nexmedia SMS Analytics is available today to administrators of all nexmedia Enterprise SMS subscriptions. Simply login to the nexsites Designer and select Logs & Analytics then SMS Analytics to get started. If you can’t see either of these menu items, contact your organization’s nexmedia System Administrator and ask to be granted access to the Logs & Statistics functionality. Data in the nexmedia SMS Analytics dashboards is updated every 15 minutes, and includes all messages associated with your subscription.
 
Slice, dice and drilldown
Each dashboard initially shows details of all messages sent and received via users and applications associated with your nexsites Platform subscription in the current calendar year. Using the Filters bar (shown above), you can easily filter messages by period, billing code, country, mobile operator, message delivery status or any combination of these criteria. We call this “slicing and dicing” your data, into just the form that you need to satisfy your specific requirement. Also, most metrics include a download icon that when clicked will generate a real-time export of all the underlying messages for that metric, including the full message text, allowing you to analyse the actual transactions behind your statistics. These downloads are available in a number of formats including Microsoft Excel®, CSV and XML.
 
Interactive SMS statistics
For your Interactive SMS applications, even more information is available via the Interactive SMS analytics dashboard. View the hours of day your applications are most active, your most active customers, and even the most common mistakes made by users trying to access your SMS based applications. Just like all the nexmedia SMS Analytics dashboards, you can customize the data included using a variety of criteria, and drill down to the specific underlying messages.
